It was Sunday morning, December 25th, 2022. Over coffee, and then breakfast, BF and I reminisced about the Christmases of our youth, which led to remembering our parents and all those who are no longer with us but had been integral to our holidays.
The sun was shining with reports of mid-seventies temperatures ahead and we decided to take a walk before the Arizona bunch arrived after enjoying their Santa bounty.
Sending Love
We were chatting as we moved briskly down the sidewalk, sending positive energy to our new neighborhood. We sent a special blessing to those who might be alone for the day. To those who might be spending a first holiday without a dear one. To those who might be ill. We sent love. Special Christmas love.
And then we expanded that same wish for our neighbors back home.
And then to our extended families, our siblings and their families.
And then to our little core blended family, most of whom we wouldn’t see that day.
And then to each other.
And then to ourselves.
All You Need Is Love
And then, channeling some of the greatest philosophers of our time, I started singing, “All You Need Is Love.” By the third round of the chorus, I was almost skipping, singing, “All you need is love!”
BF stopped suddenly, reached down to rescue something from the street, and said, “Well, look at this!”
I must say that this is a common occurrence in that he almost always returns from a walk with a coin or a feather or a nut and bolt or a treasure of some kind. He has a knack for it.
This is what he found in the street:
I believe my Angels and guides and dearly departed loved ones are sending messages and leaving signs for me all the time, but oftentimes I stay too busy to notice. I just don’t know how much more direct they can be than guiding us to find a shiny object bearing the very word I was singing. The word, by the way, that answers all questions regarding what we might really need.
Last January, I set an intention to post a blog once a week for the entire year of 2022. I’m proud to say, I successfully posted 52 times in 2022, sending an email to my subscribers each time. This is huge for me. Let’s just say I struggle with stick-to-itiveness.
This January, I’ll be spending time with family and listening for Angel messages. Focusing on signs. Noticing. In lieu of weekly blogging, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite quotations with you and sending lots of love and positive energy your way.
I’ll meet you back here in February.
P.S. I’m happy to say, the bracelet has been reunited with its owner who lost it on a walk.
This is wonderful! And congratulations for achieving your goal. Happy new year.
Love this and you!
