Turkey Treat
October 10, 2012

Today, I fixed one of my favorite recipes from this cookbook:

Six simple ingredients.

I strongly suggest that  if you have someone who loves you and is willing, let them pull the skin from the turkey breast for you.  It’s enough to convert me into vegetarianism.

I like to mix the sauce ingredients in the crock pot first and then add the cleaned turkey breast.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours and you have a moist, tasty turkey breast to enjoy all week.  Serve with herb red-skinned potatoes or a baked sweet potato and something green.  And, of course,  a nice Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc.

The Universe is guiding me on an incredible adventure: my Plan B. I write here to share bits of my Odyssey, hopefully to inspire, encourage, or extend the virtual hand of friendship.

When I quit teaching in 2014, I could never have imagined the growth I would experience through travel, writing, reading, therapy, and introspection.

I believe human connection and compassion will go a long way toward our healing, and the best way to connect and feel compassion for one another is through the sharing of our stories.

Thank you for joining me here. I appreciate you and may we grow together.
