Hello, new friends! My Nana’s off taking a nap because she’s sick as a dog! (A phrase I’ve never liked, by the way. I’m usually pretty spry!)
My Nana Won’t Be Writing This Week
Nana and Grandpa Rick (I’ve heard he answers to “BF” here) have finally caught Covid, which my mom tells me is NOT a kind of squirrel. Just like me, they’ve both had all their shots, but Nana’s had a “ruff” week. Since I’m too far away to bring her my frisbee, I’m so thankful for all the friends and neighbors who have offered to help.
She’s being a very good girl and resting and taking her medicine, even though her pills don’t come wrapped in a piece of cheese. I’m sure she’ll be back up and at ‘em next week, but in the meantime, feel free to drop some encouragement in the comments!
Take a walk for Nana and me this week, and if you see the mailman, tell him I’m always watching . . .
I’m so sorry you both aren’t feeling well. I’m praying for total healing. Take care of each other.
Wishing you both well! Rest, heal, recharge. We will all wait patiently for you. ❤️??
Thinking of you both, Debi!
Thank you, Krista. Feeling much better today!
So sorry you and Rick are ill. Hoping you are feeling better soon!! Love your puppy!!
Thank you, Linda! And, yes, we are feeling much better!
Oh feel better soon Nana Debi! Perfect blog for National Dog’s week.
Right!?!? And I didn’t even now it was dog week when I asked Bella to write this!
Get better soon-both of you! Covid is certainly not fun but I was grateful for Paxlovid. Before it kicked in I felt like I had swallowed a box of razor blades and then decided to live underwater without gills!!
Take good care of yourselves . Sorry you are sick ?❤️
We took Paxlovid too. I’m not sure we noticed a huge difference. I have a new compassion and empathy for all those who have gone before me with this virus!
